As September has approached (crazy thought) and we're slowly transitioning into the autumn season, we're at that awkward stage where you look into your wardrobe, contemplate life for a good few seconds and then just question what on earth you're going to wear. Although we haven't had much summer and have needed to cover up our thermally prepared bodies almost all year round, it's around this time of year we start to feel the chill. This is where a great staple, investment jacket comes in to the equation. Whether it be a traditional biker, some 70s suede, or a blazer and kimono style, a good, versatile jacket means it caters for all your needs. It does the job of keeping you warm but not overly bustled up and is something you can throw on with pretty much anything.
As the autumn/winter moves in I can soon forget all about the summer fashion and begin my obsession with coats. It's hard for me to resist turning all gooey-eyed at the oversized snug pieces so a jacket (or two, or three) soothes the urge to splurge on a winter coat. I'm loving allll the choices on the high street this month and have a funny feeling I'm going to end up surrounded by a serenade of sheathing.
