A couple of weeks ago, a lovely man named Adam got in touch to ask whether I'd be interested in reading, featuring and giving any insight into his Rose Quartz Inspiration university assignment - a piece he put together to connect influential fashionistas to this season's trends. As you can see, his article was a focus on some spring style and accessories and as I loved his neutral feminine picks, I thought what better way to share them with you all than on my Wednesday Wishlist day...
Ever since Pantone announced rose quartz as the colour of 2016, I’ve been seeing the dusty pink shade everywhere! This soft shade is inspiring us to wear softer colours in these dreary winter months. Here are some of my top picks for pairing and incorporating the colour of the year into your wardrobe!
I love all of the ways you can integrate this colour, whether you're a pink girl or not so much. You can go big with this Jane Norman coat and the outrageously comfortable cardigan or add a touch of pink with the Stella McCartney sunglasses. I actually saw that Sephora made a rose quartz AND the other colour of the year, serenity, lipstick.
I love how a cream duster, or bag like this one by Felix Rey, compliments the soft pinks shade. Sulaika Zarrouk and Lily Rafii, now Lily Band after marrying business consultant Doug Band, are the founders of this vintage and flirty brand. Speaking of flirty, another reason this colour is great is that the trend is coming just in time for some Valentine’s Day inspiration!
