So, we've reached the final day of the November month; the last day before there's only one month to get through until we reach the end of the year. Quite a mind-blowing thought if you think about it. I feel like I've started to plan Christmas content before I've put my usual schedule into action but then again it gives me an excuse to look back on the trends that have come to life this year and will most likely follow on over the festive period into the start of 2017.
Plisse, pleats, whatever your preference of name is, is everywhere you turn at the moment and for a while I've turned my nose up because I'm the sort of pessimistic person who comes to the conclusion I'm going to appear frumpy in anything I wear but recently, after seeing my fave fashion bloggers rocking the crinkled texture, I'm becoming succumbed to the idea of shaking up your wardrobe back to old school vintage with a twist. It's both classic and futuristic, the type of material that allows you spacious comfort and sartorial sparkle. Perfect for party season, perfect for spicing up your basics, perfect for enveloping the variety of hues, prints and structures, and the perfect treat whilst doing that last minute panic buying.
What do you think? Have you introduced any plisse to your collection?
